Today my pictures got published in NRC NEXT! A Dutch national newspaper. I am following a photo summercourse and the pictures of the 1st day are published. Today at the course, I got high up in the sky in a crane on a construction site! This was so cool, we just asked and I was allowed to go up!!! As a kid a used to climb on the roof of our house to sit there and enjoy the view. The neighbours would call my mom and complain that I was sitting on top of the roof…I love hights and great views. I’ll post the pictures later!

I went to the south of France for a week to visit a good friend of mine. We had a great time, lots of good food and wine. One day we were having lunch and these two orange friends where on top of our plates.

This is the first and best shot, taken at the restaurant. I just love it! The nice blue background is actually a piece of plastic covering a boat! Later on we took the crabs home and had really a lot of fun placing the crabs everywhere and taking pictures. I’ll post them later!

This was a real fun photoshoot, me hanging out of the window on the 2nd floor and Joep and Maaike downstairs trying to follow my instructions – “a little bit more to the left, eh I mean right for you ” – And the other way around Maaike and Joep out of the window and me downstairs. My mother gave me these beautifull flowers yesterday. Peony (pioenroos in Dutch). I took these pictures this morning. When I got home tonight I smelled their fragrance immediately. They were even more beautifull and that inspired me to make this collage!

Today my cousin Aafje got married. It was a beautiful day and the wedding was outside. I took a photoshoot of Aafje and her son Omar a couple of weeks ago. I gave a framed collage as present. More pictures and more collages of Omar & Aafje.

June 7th was the day 45th national herringparty at the Nyenrode Castle in Breukelen. It was a great party! With really good (old)herring, since the start of the season is postponed till June 15th. For more pictures of the party see here!
