Welcome to my new photography blog! Here you can view the sneakpeaks of my latest shoots.

Eef photography specializes in portrait photography this can be in the form of family, commercial and editorial commissions. You can think of kids portraits family portraits or a maternity or newborn photoshoot. Eef photography photographs a limited amount of weddings every year. These are destination weddings and weddings in The Netherlands.

This is one of my favorite shots, love the colors of their t-shirts and the bare feet!

Last May I Photographed this amazing family. We had a great day at the beach. I love photographing on the beach. The kids loved it too. I made some really nice canvasses with collages for them. One with the pictures from the beach.

And one with all the famous buildings near their house. I did another shoot where I took pictures of the Magere brug, the Stopera, the Amstelhotel & the Hermitage. What an amazing buildings & bridge! I used it in the background and loved how it turned out.

This is a shoot I did almost 2 weeks ago of my friend & colleague Daphne she is the beautiful sister of this girl. I love it how she can express totally different moods so well! And I loved playing with my new studio lights :-D

This last picture was Daphne’s idea, love the play with the mirror and… that smile!

Last week I had the honor to photograph is amazing family! There are soooo many nice pictures :-) But hey I can’t post them all…hope you enjoyed these. Uhhg the weather today was horrible rain rain rain…I hope it will be better tomorrow since I have an all day shoot and part of it is outside brrr. Can’t wait to go to Curacao in two weeks I will be there :-D

This shoot is from last summer. I still have so many shoots from last year…I thought it would be nice some summer pictures while it is covered with snow outside! I ordered some clothes online for my trip to Curacao, and it was a bit strange trying on summer clothes while it is FREEZING cold outside….but hey I think I can get over that. Enjoy the pictures!

My friend Margot has a new product, a “voedingsdoek”! Very handy when you want to have a cup of coffee and want to breastfeed your child. The introduction will be at the “9 maanden beurs” And it will be online in her webshop in a month! I love the colorcombinations…and the fabric is really nice, I asked if she could make a blouse out of that same frabric (so who knows, I’ll keep you posted when she does!).

This week was another busy week. Yesterday whole day shoot at location and today first day shooting in the studio with my friend & photographer Daphne! Tomorrow I have another shoot in Castricum :-D . Three more busy weeks and then off to Curaçao, really looking forward to that! Oh and I have a new roommate for 3,5 weeks. Tijger the cat of my friend Laura is staying at my place. Will try to capture him this weekend and post a picture. xoxo eef

Last Saturday I took the pictures of this amazing family! I also took pictures while she was pregnant (you can see them here!) It was freezing cold outside, but luckily inside it was nice and warm. Afterward I went to look at a photo studio (to share/rent), it was very nice, a classroom with a 5m high ceiling in an old school building. The guy who rents it opened the door and when I came in he said ‘hey but I know you, we went to the same high school’.

I guess it is a small world….We talked for 1,5 hours and I think it will be a very good place to start with studio photography (First I had the idea that I would do studio photography in my house, but I had a shoot last March for kids clothing with 8 little models and their parents all in my apartment nope not doing that again…)

This week was a good week got I got a lot of work done, had a great weekend, nice party with friends, did a super good workshop @ calumet AND I bought a ticket to the tropics. I’ll go to Curaçao for a whole month ;-) , so nice SUN, BEACH, flip flops instead of boots, seeing my friends & work with the most amazing light!!! Really looking forward to that. I allready had some assignments for the trip and today I got an email for a very COOL project. It is still a sectret so I cannot tell, but I’ll keep you posted.

Beside the family, maternity, newborn & kids photography, which I love! I also have a client in a totally different area, Workx is in Holland a big player in rental equipment for building & construction.

I made the pictures for their website last year and now we are working on the rental guide…a lot of work but also a lot of fun! I love all the big cranes (especially going up in them, the higher the better, to take pictures from a different angle) the construction sites we go to to take the pictures in “real life situation”, and last but not least the people that work there.

They have stores all over the country, so we have to travel sometimes a bit to photograph a specific site or piece of machinery. I was told last week that I might have to travel up to Metslawier which is above Dokkum to photograph a specific crane….(no highways there! anyone wants to come ;-) )

Yesterday I had a great shoot in Amersfoort. It was a gift mom got for her 50th birthday of her sisters. The weather was great, freezing cold, but hey the sky was BLUE instead of the gray it was all day yesterday, so that was good. It was a beautiful forest were we went, with also lots of open space. They were an amazing family, mom and dad & 3 beautiful girls….

In the end we were all frozen, so I asked them to jump :-) to warm up! We also took some pictures without coats (I feld really mean when I asked them to take them off….and I was standing there with my coat on…). Afterwards we had hot chocolate with whipped cream at their house :-) I love hot chocolate after cold & snow!
